Skinature #BBloggers Event

Could you name one ingredient in your skincare products? And if you could, do you know if it’s synthetic? And how much of it is actually in that product? Because I couldn’t, in fact I had no clue about synthetic ingredients and what harm they can actually do to my skin. My eyes were well and truly opened thanks to Marva, the founder of Skinature.

The lovely people at We Are Sparkle invited Eve Purdy and myself to a Skinature #bbloggers event, in Newcastle. I was rather excited to attend, I’ve been to various fashion events before, but never a beauty event.

Upon arrival we were greet with glasses of elderflower cordial, quaint apples with name tags and delicious cupcakes. The night was off to an amazing start.

We were then whisked into a room, where we filled the rows of chairs ready for Marva to tell us about her products. I think I can speak for everyone who was there when I say that in half an hour Marva had wowed us with her products.

She explained the ingredients and how they can benefit our skin, explained how her products differ to other high street brands, how her products are made from 100 per cent natural ingredients and after passing various products around for us to sample I couldn’t wait to choose the three I wanted to take home with me.

After the dicussion we got the chance to choose our three products. I decided to choose the Evening Primrose & Apricot Oil Face Cream, the Lavender & Argan Oil Night Therapy and the Ylang Ylang & Sandalwood Firming Serum. I’ve used these ever since the event and my skin has never looked and felt so good, I can’t wait to buy the cleanser and Jasmine Oil when payday comes.

Another great thing about the evening was the chance to speak to other beauty bloggers. It was really nice to speak to other girls and get their opinions on beauty and make up products and hopefully made some friends.

Also the next day I had a fabulous interview with Marva before she travelled back down to Kent, she is such a lovely, down to earth and inspiring lady who’s done a lot in the skincare world to help women with their skin problems. I can’t wait for you to read all about her in the next issue of Etc magazine.
